About

I graduated May 2009 with a B.A. in Architecture, and I am currently searching for an entry-level position at a creative design firm while I independently freelance web and graphics.

My internship at Living 3.0 in Taipei last summer exposed me to the field of high-tech homes, which I saw as a crossroads between architecture and industrial design—my major interests.

In the past, I’ve worked on conceptual product designs with Berkeley Innovation, drawn ceiling and floor plans for a graduate student lounge on campus, even shingled roofs, painted walls, and wrapped houses in Tyvek in New Orleans and Oakland. I’ve also illustrated covers for California Engineer, designed layouts for Mochi Magazine, and built websites for small start-ups such as Caliber.59.

I’ve spoken at the ITASA West Coast and Midwest Conferences, led two student groups, and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and The Berkeley Project. I’ve also volunteered at TechCrunch50, The Crunchies Awards, and West Coast Green to expand my own knowledge of the Silicon Valley tech industry.

I currently run the humor sites Mymomisafob.com and Mydadisafob.com, which have been featured on SFGate, CNNGo, among other websites and publications. My co-author and I are working on the book version, set to be published by Penguin's Perigee Books.
