Perhaps creating a false topography in order to create a greater sense of site connectivity.  The flat, characteristic-less site can be located in any location on the planet.  Create topography, the site becomes unique, the building responding to that topography.

kind of cheesy when the topography is man-made to begin with…perhaps if there was some interrelation to the original topography or surrounding geography, it’d make more sense…but I don’t see any green at all.
