Trailer for the global collaborative motion picture One Day on Earth. Background on the project here.

This video blows my mind, watch it, and rather than watching the stars as objects moving across the sky, try visualising them as stationary objects while the earth (and camera) spins - you’ll suddenly feel very small.

This Is Gorgeous, You Should Watch It of the Day: “Words” — A stunning visual poem from Radiolab and NPR.

Words have the power to shape the way we think and feel. In this stunning video, filmmakers Will Hoffman and Daniel Mercadante bandy visual wordplay into a moving exploration of how language connects our inner thoughts to the outside world.

The Director of Photography went to town on this video. Educational and visually amazing. I bet there is at least 2 things you don’t know about the human body in this video.

“An expressive motion piece inspired by the struggle between individuality and social/national identity. With a requited sense of self came “i”.

“Dharavi, Slum for Sale” (CH /D 2010, 80 min., 1:1.85, DolbySR)
Film by Lutz Konermann that investigates the redevelopment scheme proposed by Mukesh Mehta.  I’ve only seen the first 3:33 (the preview released), but it looks like a visually stunning film that will no doubt look deeply at the attempt by both sides to achieve their goals.
I would really like to see the whole thing.
