Blue Bottle atop the MoMA earlier today :). love their pana cotta and soy latte!

After being bedridden for four days (thanks to a nasty flu), my recovering stomach somehow endured an eating marathon on Saturday.
Ryan had a BBQ at his place during the day, and then we headed over to Derek’s for a home-cooked meal complete with wine and cheese.
Pictured above, Derek and Steve’s awesome dining setup (left); and his gourmet entree: steamed clams with bacon and green onions. That night, we tried four types of cheeses, two wines, Derek’s sister’s lasagna, her friends’ quiches and kalbi, and Humphrey’s toasted almond icecream. Yum.

Today’s my sister’s 18th birthday so one of her friends baked her this amazing peach pie, where she cut out each leaf individually.
I got her Lady Gaga concert tickets and a Coach bag :)
Blue corn jalapeno pancakes? these look sooo unbelievably amazing.

I’m one of those Asians who likes to take pictures of her food… and so I have a huge collection of photos that never made it onto my main blog.

definition of Taiwanese American food: shao bing with ham & eggs…LOL
“shao bing” is the thin, crispy, flaky sesame-covered flatbread that Taiwanese people normally eat for breakfast… with thin slices of beef, sprigs of green onion and this thick sesame/soy sauce paste.
I’m eating mine with ham & eggs and ketchup :P
mmm, cholesterol.
This morning, I opened the freezer and found Klondike heath bars and Häagen-Dazs coffee icecream. This is amazing because my house probably has more vitamin supplements, protein powder, and organic green things than yours.
Guess what I had for breakfast (at 5am) to go along with my tea!
I literally just invented the most badass concoction in the world.
