redesigned Jaeson Ma’s website; it’s currently live! …but I will be redesigning again within the next few days.

what I spent my weekend working on…and will still be working on for the next few days.
I spent all day today exporting/importing portfolios and resizing thumbnails. SERENASTUDIO is now showcasing 97 projects ranging from newspaper & magazine layouts to architecture school projects to web & graphic designs.
…and I still want to be a photographer…that portfolio’s coming next! someday.

thought this color palette was fitting

then realized it matched her Twitter

mockup I'm designing :)
I picked out the color palette from wear palettes before I checked her Twitter, which, albeit is a default theme, but still!
proof that I have an intuitive color sense about people ;)!
Usually, it’s too overwhelming for a website to have too many colors, so I stuck to variants of the salmon and pale green.
My personal blog used to be titled Painting an Everchanging Canvas, but no one could ever remember the lengthy title nor the mismatching url, so I’ve decided to change it to Serenastyle Blog for simplicity’s sake.
To fit the name change, I also redesigned the entire site—hope you like it!
The current website’s a bit of a mess, so I was asked to design “something cleaner and faster loading”. Here are some image previews of my mocks ;)
…goodnight! lol. #sleepfail
I have a tendency to work on projects that I don’t really have to work on but I really want to work on…and leave the urgent projects ‘til the last minute. SIGH.
Anyway, I’m feeling incredibly nauseous tonight, which I guess means I’m going back to sleep. Doc apt at 1pm…and then working nonstop ‘til I finish what’s on the top of my list this week.
